Robotic Hand

a step by step building

Introduction:

When you start something, you often have to start by putting your ideas on paper and when we make a first prototype we know that it is the first but not the last...

Ideas on paper:

We always have to go through this step, it is not necessarily the most fascinating step but it is important.
So for my first robotic hand I made this sketch:

I was 10 years old when I made this sketch to start my first hand.

First hand:

I made my first hand with cardboard, paper and wire.
Here's the result:

I was 10 years old when I made this hand.

next step:

I wanted my robotic hand to have the most realistic gestures possible. So I created a second hand. First I did some sketches.

I made this one (see below) with wood, wire and glue.
Here's the result:

I was 11 years old when I made this hand.

second hand:

This hand (see below) is able to do all the movements of a real hand !

a third hand ?:

you will be amazed, but there is a third hand, i know what you are thinking, my goal was for my hand to be the most realistic gestures possible but i wanted my hand to be able to move on its own. So I created a third one.
Here's the result:

I was 11 years old when I made this hand.

I made this one with cardboard, wires, electric wires, servomotors, potentiometers and an arduino card
